Document Description
A request to amend the County's general plan by (1) changing a maximum of 34.5 acres of a 100 acre site from Agriculture (AG) to Rural Lands (RL); (2) including a use limitation for the changed RL portion for school use (pre- to secondary school) only; (3) changing the Agriculture and Open Space Element designation from Agriculture to Large Lot Rural; and (4) dis-establishing the agriculture preserve contract. This request is to allow the applicant to construct a private High School (up to 325 students, with dormitories for 75 students), sports fields, licensed child development center and day camp (up to 200 children). The remainder of the site will remain in Agriculture and is required to be agriculturally intensified in conjunction with the school.
