Document Description
Kelsey Creek Bridge is a 4-span, steel girder bridge that is 372 feet long and 36 feet wide. It carries 2 lanes of traffic. This seismic retrofit project will reinforce the support structure of the bridge by removing and replacement of steel diaphragms between the steel beams, construction of concrete shear blocks at the tops of piers, construction of concrete bumpers, shear locks and catcher blocks at abutments, installation of cable retainers at hinges and piers and installation of steel shear locks at hinges.
