Approval of a Redevelopment Plan for the approximate 220-acre area. If approved, the Newark Redevelopment Agency would be able to assist in the funding of capital improvements within the project area, to facilitate new development in the Area consistent with the Redevelopment Plan, to facilitate cleanup of contaminated soils and other identified hazards in the Area and to eliminate identified blighted conditions. No specific construction is anticipated within the proposed redevelopment area at this time.
