There are no County zoning or general plan designations for VAFB.
Document Description
The project is a proposed annexation of the southern portion of Vendenberg Air Force Base (VAFB) that is not currently included within the SMPAD (District) boundaries. The proposed annexation area would include the remaining portions of VAFB south of San Antonio Creek to the southern boundary of VAFB beyond point Arguello to Jalama Beach County Park. The land uses reflect military operations, particularly those related to aircraft and missile launching activities. However, supporting activities within VAFB include industrial and commercial activities, as well as residential uses to house personnel associated with the base.
