Document Description
The applicant proposes a temporary crossing of the South Fork Eel River at a point about 1300 feet upstream from where the river hits the edge of toe Branscomb Road. The crossing is proposed for use to access Unit 2 of Timber Harvest Plan 01-00-128 MEN. The river's flood plain at this point is a low flat alluvial plain about 300 feet wide on the right (northeast) bank and about 300 feet wide on the left (southwest) bank. The California Department of Fish and Game (DFG) is executing a Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement R3-2001-0424, pursuant to section 1603 of the Fish and Game Code to the project applicant, Mr. Gerald M. Garvey.
