The proposed project under consideration by the Department of Toxic Substances Control (DTSC) is the approval and implementation of a Removal Action Workplan (RAW). The proposed action is excavation of approximately 6,000 cubic yards of arsenic contaminated soil and encapsulating the soil beneath an asphalt parking lot on the north site of the site. The encapsulated area will be approximately 800 feet long by 40 feet wide, and the soil will extend from approximately six to eight feet below ground surface.
