Document Description
By amending the existing Plan to add territory, the primary objective of the Project is to provide for a variety of redevelopment activities designed to eliminate documented blight conditions. Agency redevelopment activities will include, but may not be limited to, the following: provision of affordable housing, construction, reconstruction and improvement of structures, public walks and buildings, infrastructure improvements, such as drainage, circulation improvements, water distribution system and wastewater collection system improvements; and redevelopment assistance programs such as low-interest loans. The possible actions are not proposed projects at this time, but are possible activities that may be undertaken in conjunction with the Plan. The land uses permitted within the territory included in the Plan ( the "Added Territory") will conform with the City of Ceres General Plan and the Zoning Ordinance as amended from time to time, as well as all other applicable state and local building codes and guidelines, as appropriate. Within the confines of General Plan Use designation, a range of development will be permitted. Population densities will conform to goals set forth in the General Plan. Building standards will conform to the building requirements of all applicable state statues and all applicable local county and city codes and ordinances.
