Document Description
CDFG is executing a Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement (SAA #6-2001-69) pursuant to Section 1603 of the Fish and Game Code to the project applicant, The McCarty Company. The applicant proposes to develop 44 single residential sites on an approximate 55 acre parcel; development will represent a radical change in the character of the land use area, but one fully consistent with the developing pattern of the area. The project will not cause a significant interruption to natural drainages; the water will start and stop at the same points of entry and exit; grading will intrude only on a small part of sheet flow area. A natural retention basin is proposed to slow down current velocity, as described in the submitted application. The project is located in Calimesa in Riverside County.
