Document Description
The project involves the redevelopment of the 430-acre former OAB. The project included constructing an intermodal rail yard in a portion of the former Oakland Army Base and relocating Maritime Street approximately 400 feet to the east.
The Board of Port Commissioners for the Port of Oakland approved a modification of the layout of the Outer Harbor Intermodal Terminal. The rail yard will now extend to the current alignment of Maritime Street, and relocation of Maritime Street will no longer be necessary. Approval of the modification was based on the Final EIR for the project and an addendum to the EIR.
