Document Description
Proposed is the redevelopment of an existing 52.5+ acre site for up to 628,000 of retail use, including site clearance, associated improvements, and such discretionary actions as may be required for the project's implementation. In recognition of the site's location and the City's recent initiation of a comprehensive update to the "City of Corona General Plan," the City has elected to prepare a specific plan establishing site-specific development standards for the project. The City will examine two additional land use scenarios that may be adopted in lieu of the proposed retail commercial project, including: (1) up to 800,415 square feet of business park use; and (20 up to 754,078 square feet of mixed-use development (e.g., retail, office, restaurants, hotel). Under the discussion of the "no project" alternative, up to 1,143, 450 square feet of industrial use will be considered.
