Document Description
Construction of an alternative high school in downtown Oakland. The project would relocate the existing alternative high school to the project site. The project site comprises about 1.82 acres including a 1.07 acre parcel owned by the Oakland Unified School District (District) that contained a parking lot and portable buildings, 0.08 acre of land also owned by the District, 0.61 acre of public right-of-way, and 0.06 acre of Peralta Park (City of Oakland). The project would require the vacation of two city streets - East 11th Street between 1st and 2nd Avenue; and 1st Avenue. The project would house up to 250 students and 17 faculty.
