Document Description
The project includes the installation of a 30 inch storm drain outlet built to the standards of the Sonoma County Water Agency to replace an existing 30 inch storm drain outlet. A small amount of rock rip-rap will be incorporated to control erosion at the storm drain outlet. The actual disturbed area will be approximately 10 ft. wide where the trench for the pipe is excavated and the rock rip-rap is placed to control erosion at the outfall. Roseland Creek is a seasonal stream wih no known fish population. Portions of the stream stay wet with standing, stagnant water which is probably supplied by run-off from urban lawn watering. The stream has very little riparian vegetation, consisting of a few scattered oaks. The steambed supports a thick growth of emergent vegetation. Issuance of a Streambed Alteration Agreement Number R3-2001-0418 pursuant to Fish and Game Code Section 1603.
