Document Description
The proposed project is an 18-hole links-style golf course and public open space with associated facilities plus a nine-hole executive (short) course, on approximately 215 acres at Alameda Point. The project would provide public access on the shoreline via a public park operated by the City of Alameda and an extension of the San Francisco Bay Trail operated in coordination with the East Bay Regional Park District. The site contains portions of the abandoned airfield, guard tower, and several small support structures, all of which would be demolished.
