Document Description
At site 1, starting at the upstream portion, repair of the existing failing trail includes approximately 90 linear feet of loose rock rip-rap on the west bank. In the area of the existing creek vegetation (to remain), the riprap will be hand placed for approximately 20 feet. All rock riprap above the ordinary high water will be backfilled with soil and seeded. Adjacent to the loose rock riprap on the downstream side, approximately 25 feet of the toe of the slope will be stabilized using concrete"a-jacks" and willow shoots. Along the top of the bank, a steel post and wood retaining wall will be constructed. At site 2, an existing 18' outfall pipe will be replaced and approximately 100 sq. ft. of loose rock riprap will be installed at and around the discharge point to dissipate water. The top 6 inches of soil shall be salvaged and used to restore the bank. Issuance of a Streambed Alteration Agreement #R3-2001-0158 pursuant to Fish and Game Code Section 1601.
