Document Description
The proposed Consolidated Redevelopment Project entails the merger of three existing redevelopment project areas and the inclusion of new areas in the City of Buena Park. The project also extends the deadline to incur debt and the timeline to use eminent domain powers in non-residential areas of the existing redevelopment project areas. In addition, the project proposes to modify the financial limits for the resulting merged and amended redevelopment project. The three existing redevelopment projects are 1) the Central Business District Project and its amendments, 2) the Project Area II and its amendments, and 3) the Project Area III and its one amendment. The project also includes 2,930 acres of new area for a total Consolidated Redevelopment Project Area of 3,940 acres. The proposed actions are all being taken in accordance with the standards of the California Community Redevelopment Law (CRL), Health and Safety Code Section 33000, et seq.
