Document Description
The proposed statutory Development Agreement (DA) between the City of Malibu and the Malibu Bay Company would implement 20 years of land use entitlements and requirements for the Malibu Bay Company's remaining undeveloped land within the City. The proposed EIR would provide CEQA documentation for the DA, with a project-specific level of analysis sufficient to allow for development of each of its components. The proposed EIR would also be tailored such that impacts from individual properties, or a group of properties could be determined in the event that one or more of the proposed projects does not receive the necessary discretionary approvals. The DA would govern development of the Malibu Bay Company's 12 properties within the City of Malibu which are clustered into three general locations; the Malibu Civic Center, Point Dume and the base to Trancas Canyon.
