Document Description
The Friant Water Users Authority proposes to make releases of water from Friant Dam over the period of approximately June 14 through September 30, 2001 as part of Reclamation and the SJRRHRP 2001 Pilot Project. The project is to encourage maintenance of a seedling establishment and to improve understanding of ground and surface water conditions to refine hydrologic and hydraulic modeling on the San Joaquin River from Friant Dam to Mendota Dam. Water releases would be at an instantaneous rate of up to approximately 50 cubic feet per second. Water purchases from willing sellers are needed to augment water already banked by the Pilot Project proponents in Millerton Lake Reservoir.
