Document Description
The project is the construction of a 24 foot wide, 2,700 foot long access road for empty City of San Diego trash trucks to exit the West Miramar Landfill. The proposal would include the improvement of existing dirt roads and areas adjoining and through the existing leased, commercial nursery for a new paved road to exit the landfill and to access the existing I-805 on-ramps at Governor Drive. Initially, there would be 120 City trash truks which would use this proposed access road between 2:00 pm and 5:00 pm on weekdays and a few Saturdays, to exit the landfill and thereby, bypassing the existing Convoy Street landfill access.
