Document Description
The western bank of the flood control channel on the east side of the NB U.S 101 onramp from SR 116 will be temporarily impacted by the project. The flood control channel spans the length between culvert underneath SR 116 and the bridge over Caulfield Lane, a distance of over 2,000 feet. The western bank of the flood control channel will be impacted by access needed for construction personnel, equipment and materials to build the retaining wall and sound walls. There will be no impact to the bed of the flood control channel (no impacts below the ordinary high water mark [OHWM]). Approximately 0.295 acres (1,935 linear feet) of the flood control channel bank will be temporarily impacted by the project. Temporary impacts will include work access and installation of temporary material such as silt fence, ESA fencing and erosion control BMP's.
