Document Description
The Kirkwood Mountain Resort is requesting a General Plan Amendment to change the current land use designation at the project site from "Parking" to "Service/Commercial" in order to allow for the development of a community recreation facility on approximately 1.25 acres. A conditonal use permit is also being sought in order to allow construction of the proposed facility. At full build out, the facility will encompass approximately 22,680 square feet and will include an outdoor swimming pool, spa area, locker/restrooms, exercise rooms, lobby, office space, meeting rooms and a multi purpose room. A small parking lot adjacent to the site containing approximately 40 spaces will also be developed.
