California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection is proposing to replace several structures at the exisitng Squaw Valley Forest Fire Station. The project would provide a new tow-engine facility on the site and would include the following support structures: a 12-bed barracks approximately 2,968 square feet; a 3-bay apparatus building approx. 1,994sf; an office approximately 512sf; a flammable storage building approximately 150sf; and a pump house of approximately 80sf. Project requires the demolition of some existing buildings.
