Document Description
The County of San Luis Obispo is proposing to construct permanent percolation ponds for treated wastewater for the County Service Area 7A wastewater treatment system. The new ponds would replace existing temporary emergency ponds that have been constructed and utilized at the site and will be used for disposal of wastewater when the existing spray fields are unable to meet disposal needs, primarily during the rainy season. The new ponds will be located a minimum of 200 feet from the high water line of Kavanaugh Creek. The project will disturb an approximate 1.5 acre area and is located approximately 1/4 mile west of Oak Shores Drive, 1 mile south of Lynch Canyon Road, in the village of Oak Shores, in northern San Luis Obispo County.
