Calaveras County Water District (CCWD) anticipates the construction of a concrete-faced rockfill dam at the Forest-Middle Fork Dam site which is on the Middle Fork of the Mokelumne River approximately 700 feet downstream of its confluence with Forest Creek. The dam would have a maximum height of 174 feet with a crest elevation of 2,830 feet. The crest width and length would be 20 feet and 830 feet, respectively. The dam would create a reservoir of approximately 12,000 acre-feet capacity with a surface area of approximately 202 acres at normal pool (2,717 feet elevation).
