Document Description
The proposed project consists of the construction, operation, and maintenance of a concrete lined flood control channel. The proposed channel will provide 100-year flood protection to existing public roads, the Union Pacific Railroad, utilities, and an area of dense residential development by connecting two reaches of existing channel. The proposed channel configuration consists of approximately 2,220 lineal feet of concrete lined rectangular channel, and approximately 2,910 lineal feet of concrete lined trapezoidal channel. The trapezoidal channel will have a bottom width of 44 feet, and a total top width of 80 feet. The rectangular channel will be 42 feet wide. The total length of the proposed channel is 5,130 lineal feet.
