The project consists of a request involving the issuance of a revised Solid Waste Facility Permit for the Fairmead Landfill and the issuance of a revised Solid Waste Facility Permit for the Mammoth Recovery Facility (MRF). The Solid Waste Facility Permits are being revised to accommodate additional tonnage throughout to achieve AB 939 recycling mandates, facility expansion to handle and process the additional tonnages, and operational changes for site efficiencies.
