Document Description
The proposed project has been comprehensively planned to ensure the development of complimentary uses within (and adjacent to) the project site. The 174-acre project site has been assembled through the combination of 156 acres of City (Redevelopment Agency) controlled property and the 18 acres of undeveloped property adjacent to I-15 and south of Church Street. At ultimate build-out, the project site will include approximately 2.45 million square feet of retail, office, and civic uses as well as up to 600 multiple-family residential units. The development scenario for the proposed Rancho Cucamonga Mall envisions development of a "new downtown" consisting of open air mixed use complex which includes an attractive and compatible blend of major retail tenants, specialty commercial uses, restaurant and entertainment outlets, office uses, residential dwellings, and community facilities.
