Relinquishment of Highway 160: The City of Sacramento has requested from CalTrans, the legislative relinquishment of State Route (SR) 160 within the City limits. SR 160 is a CalTrans-owned highway primarily routed through City streets on Freeport Boulevard, Broadway, 15th Street, 16th Street, 19th Street, 21st Street, F Street, and North 12th Street, then over the American River to join the Capital City Freeway. The limits of SR 160 considered for relinquishment total approximately 9 miles, beginning just north of Stonecrest Avenue to the south and ending at the American River Bridge abutment to the north.
