Document Description
The Northeast Quadrant Science and Safety (NEQSS) Projects include the construction of two new institutional buildings in the northeast quadrant of the main UC Berkeley campus and the addition of one floor of parking to an existing multi-story parking structure just north of the main campus. The third level of the existing Lower Hearst Parking Structure would be redesigned to remove the existing tennis and skateboard park and to add 150 to 180 parking spaces. An amendment to the 1990 Long Range Development Plan is requested to : 1) address a change in land use and 2) allow an overall gross square footage increase for campus development of about 327,000 gross square footage.
