Document Description
The project would lower the westerly maintenance road approximately 2 feet by excavating approximately 6,500 cubic yards of material from the existing road. The lower road would serve as a flood plain during high flows, but would still be used as a service road during the "dry season". The easterly bank would be excavated in a stepped shape, backfilled, and graded to a 2:1 slope. The California Department of Fish and Game is executing a Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement Number R3-2001-0411 pursuant to section 1601 of the Fish and Game Code to the project operator, George Sukkar, Alameda County Flood Control and Water Conservation District.
