Document Description
Eastern Municipal Water District is proposing to replace the District's existing Sanderson Lift Station. The 35 year old Sanderson Lift Station, which conveys raw sewage to the Hemet/San Jacinto Regional Water Reclamation Facility for treatment, is experiencing operational problems and is no longer reliable. In addition to the age of the facility, if the lift station were operating satisfactorily, it would only have adequate capacity to accommodate peak sewage pumping demand until the year 2003. The District has determined that it would be more efficient and economical to construct the new lift station with adequate capacity to accommodate the projected sewage generation rates.
