Document Description
The primary objective of the proposed rule amendments are to set VOC limits and other requirements that are feasible (based on existing and currently developing coatings technology) and that will achieve significant reductions in VOC emissions from architectural coatings. The proposed rule amendments are also intended to improve the clarity and enforceability of the rule. The proposed rule amendments set allowable VOC content limits for a number of architectural coatings categories, including categories such as flats, nonflats, industrial maintenance, lacquers, floor, roof, rust preventative, stains, primers, sealers, and undercoaters.
