Document Description
The proposed project consists of three proposed roadway circulation improvement projects as Monterey Peninsula Airport (MRY). The proposed improvements are those the District considers necessary to: -Improve the efficiency of circulation patterns on airport roadways, and enhance access to critical facilities; -Increase the amount of automobile loading and unloading space at the passenger terminal, reduce congestion and associated pollutant emissions generated by idling vehicles, and eliminate competition between automobiles; -Increase efficiency of taxi use and access, and relocate vans and busses; -Increase the supply of short-term parking; -Improve vehicular access to, and fire protection for, the airfield; and, -Provide upgraded utilities to serve existing airport tenants.
