Within existing redevelopment areas in both cities, the project developer is proposing to redevelop approximately 30 acres of land from existing nonconforming residential, commercial and industrial uses to an approximate 750,000 square foot retail commercial shopping center. The implementation of this redevelopment plant will remove an existing blighted and deteriorated urban neighborhood and replace it with regional commercial uses that will benefit both Cities' job/housing balance and retention of tax dollars.
