Document Description
The proposed Burbank Media Center Project would include approximately 925,000 square feet of space in 3, 6, and 18 story buildings. The proposed uses include media in the 6 and 18 story buildings, a hotel in an 18 story building and retail commercial uses, a health club, and a childcare facility in the 3 story buildings. The project would also incorporate a new church building replacing the existing church on the site. The applicant has also requested a flexible entitlement for the project that would allow development of 192 residential units instead of the proposed hotel in order to be able to respond to market conditions. Both development scenarios are evaluated in this EIR. Development of the project with the hotel is referred to as "Project Scenario 1" and development with the residential uses is referred to as "Project Scenario 2".
