Document Description
The County of San Luis Obispo has prepared an update to the Oceano Community Plan by drafting a Specific Plan coordinated with a constraints analysis and program environmental impact report. The purpose of the specific plan is to comprehensively review new information or conditions that affect land use policy and to review the effectiveness of policies in implementing plan goals. The Oceano Specific Plan is a component of the San Luis Bay Area Plan update. The last major update was in 1980. The Specific Plan proposes guidelines and standards for future development, intended to enhance the overall appearance and function of the community.
