The proposed action/project includes the following components: extension of California Avenue approximately 3,604 feet from 12th Street to Reindollar Avenue (the right-of-way will range from 84 to 100 feet) as a two-lane arterial; construction of a four-foot wide meandering sidewalk on the westerly side of the proposed arterial; construction of a six-foot wide Class II bikeway on either side of the arterial; installation of 20 street lights along the westerly side of the proposed arterial; installation of a storm drain system including pipe, lined swale and ponds, two retention/percolation ponds and two underground pipe percolation systems; installation of a four-way stop at California Avenue and Third Street.
