The project involves the repair of an eroded bank along about 600 feet of shoreline on the northeast end of Decker Island. Exotic black locust and giant reed will be removed and replaced with native trees and shrubs. Activities also include placement of root wads for erosion control. The project was permitted by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Permit No. 199700247.
