The CDFW is executing a Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement No. 1600-2016-0293-R3 pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to the project Applicant, Garth Hall, Santa Clara Valley Water District. The activity covered under this Agreement includes the placement of a soil plug measuring approx. 25 feet long and 10 feet dep, with a 15-foot base and 8-foot top to prevent high flows from Coyote Creek from entering the canal from Coyote Creek during a recent high-flow event. This project is intended to prevent seepage of water into the canal to avoid erosion issues.
