Document Description
The City of Monterey Park drinking water Well no. 12 has a volatile organic compound (VOC) contamination above the standards allowed for drinking water. It has been out of service since 1995. A treatment plant is proposed to make this source available again. The City of Monterey Park is proposing to drill a new well (No. 15) and connect to the new treatment plant at Well No. 12. The combination of these wells and the treatment plant wells further down gradient (westward).
