Document Description
In compliance with an exemption granted from the Federal Aviation Administration regarding airport obstruction standards, Nevada County has proposed a project to construct and install an "obstruction lighting" system along the north and east sides of the Nevada County Airpark. The system will consist of four obstruction light units composed of red flashing onmidirectional beacons mounted on 100-foot tall poles. The units will be installed approximately 2,400 feet apart; three units along the north side of the runway and one unit east of the Airpark on private property in the Sierra Woodlands Subdivision.
