Document Description
The proposed project, located in unincorporated Riverside County, north of the City of Palm Springs, California, proposes to install and operate a Wind Energy Conservation System (WECS) development configured in accordance with one of two alternative site plans for the same site. Alternative Site Plan 1 includes thirty nine (39) 600,660 of 700 kW wind tribunes, capable of generating approximately 23-27 megawatts of total power, each with an overall height between 236 and 271 feet, configured in three rows on a north-south alignment across the site and requiring grading permits to move approximately 8.800 cubic yards of earth.
