Document Description
The applicant proposes to install two storm drain outfalls into Calara Creek. These two outfalls are twelve, and thirty six inches in diameter. To install the storm drain outfalls and associated rock energy dissipaters the bank will need to excavated. The project also includes clearing of existing sediment and debris in an existing double 4x8 box culvert. Erosion control measures will be implemented to prevent sediment from leaving the project area. The streambed and bank areas that are disturbed will be restored to their original contours and revegetated. The project is located on Clara Creek in San Mateo. Issuance of a Streambed Alteration Permit (r3-2000-0277) pursuant to Fish and Game Code Section 1601.
