Document Description
California Department of Fish and Game is executing a Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement pursuant to Section 1601 (SAA #5-351-00) of the Fish and Game Code to the project applicant, Wayne Comfort, representing Woodward Investment Associates. The applicant proposes to alter the streambed of Twin Oaks Valley Creek, tributary to San Marcos Creek to accomidate the construction of 120 senior apartments with associated parking, sewer and utilities. In addition, flood control measures require the construction of an auxiliary channel parallel to the natural channel of Twin Oaks Valley Creek which occupies the western portion of the site impacting 0.26 acres of streambed.
