Document Description
Draft EIR for the development of a 61-unit time-share project on approximately 7.8 acres. As proposed the Club at Big Bear Village involves the construction of 15 new structures with 2-4 units per structure totaling 58 units; conversion of two existing building (former Janet Kay Bed & Breakfast) into three units for a total of 61 time-share units; and the construction of a 12,000 square foot two-story clubhouse containing a manager's office, full service fitness center, a lounge with food and bar service, and conference rooms. There will also be a swimming pool and spa, barbecue and picnic area and a children's play area. All required parking, landscaping and circulation components will also be provided. In addition, there will be a temporary sales office provided in a modular building to be located onsite until all units have been sold. Trees and shrubs will be removed in order to accommodate the buildings associated with the proposed project. The tentative map proposes to subdivide the land into 19 lots.
