The San Bernardino Valley College (SBVC) campus straddles the San Jacinto fault zone. Seven (7) buildings on the campus are in the main fault zone or within a 50-foot seismic zone setback mandated for school buildings by the Field Act (California Code of Regulations Title 24, Part 1, Sections 4 through 317[e]).
