The project involves remediating surficial sliding of the hillside along Latigo Canyon Road in the vicinity of Culvert Marker 4.87. The material will be excavated and recompacted to 90 percent compaction. The project also involves constructing subdrainage systems beneath the graded hillside area to carry subsurface flow towards the adjacent culvert and removal and reconstruction of an approximate 110-foot long section of the upper Latigo Canyon Road. Upon project completion, the impacted area will be revegetated with native vegetation. The project area is approximately 59,000 square feet.
