The Project Area is fully urbanized with predominantly residential uses, as well as some commercial, industrial and public uses. Existing Zoning and General Plan designations are largely consistent with the existing land use patterns.
Document Description
The proposed project is to adopt and implement a Redevelopment Plan in the City of Maywood. The City-Wide Project Area consists of 625 acres and is the focus of this environment assessment. The Maywood Redevelopment Agency has proposed the Project for the purpose of alleviating blight and promoting reinvestment in the Project Area. Although no development of construction is proposed at this time, implementation of the Redevelopment Plan is expected to facilitate infrastructure improvement and rehabilitation activities consistent with the adopted City of Maywood General Plan.
