Document Description
This project proposes demolition of an existing vacant restaurant building and construction of a new four-story, 130 hotel on a 2.18 acre site located at 1550 Bayshore Highway, zoned C-4. The southwest corner of the site is now vacant and once was developed with a gas station. There is an existing sea wall and public access pathway along the south and east property line, where the site adjoins San Francisco Bay. Improvements to the bay access trail are proposed as a part of this project. Landscaping is also proposed as part of the project. A parcel map was approved which divided the site from a larger 4.75 acre site. The remainder of the original parcel is occupied by two restaurants.
