Document Description
This project proposes demolition of an existing vacant restaurant building and construction of a new four-story, 125-room hotel on a 2.07 acre portion of a site located at 1550 Bayshore Highway, zoned C-4. The southwest corner of the site is now vacant and once was developed with a gas station. There is an existing sea wall and public access pathway along the south and east property line, where the site adjoins San Francisco Bay. Improvements to the bay access trail are proposed as a part of this project. No work is proposed to the existing sea wall, and there will be no major construction work or filling in San Francisco Bay or Mills Creek. The existing parcel of land consists of 4.75 acres and is now developed with three restaurant buildings. A parcel map is proposed to divide the site into two lots, on containing the two remaining restaurants and one for the hotel project.
