Document Description
The operator proposes to build a soil nail wall along Christie Road above Rodeo Creek, southeast of Hercules in Contra Costa County. The wall will be approximately 28 feet tall and 225 feet long and constructed with 5 nails for every 1.5 meters in length of wall. Approximately 365 cubic yards of rock slope protection will be placed in front of the wall to minimize erosion at the toe of the wall. The wall will contain subdrains and hydraugers that will relieve the pressure of groundwater building behind the wall. The California Department of Fish and Game is executing a Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement Number R3-2000-1345 pursuant to section 1601 of the Fish and Game Code to the project operator.
